These terms govern your use of Lectovia and form an agreement with its operator ("Lectovia," "we," or "us"). By choosing to accept these terms in the app, you agree to them. Read our privacy policy for information about data handling.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter this agreement. Provide accurate account information, keep access secure, and do not impersonate another person. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

Your content

You retain ownership of your original content. By posting or uploading, you grant Lectovia a nonexclusive license to host, process, resize, display, and deliver that content as needed to operate the features you use. Only share material you have the right to share, including photographs, artwork, text, and video. This license ends when the content is removed, except for necessary backup, legal, or previously authorized copies.

Community rules

Do not post illegal content, child sexual exploitation material, pornography, nonconsensual intimate imagery, threats, harassment, hate targeting protected groups, private information about others without permission, scams, spam, or infringing material. Do not evade blocks, manipulate ratings, scrape personal data, attack the service, or bypass technical restrictions. An adult age requirement does not permit prohibited content.

Moderation and reporting

Use the report controls on posts and comments, or Help & support in Settings, to raise safety or copyright concerns. We may restrict content or accounts for violations, security, or legal reasons. Contact us to contest a moderation decision. Club owners may customize their clubs but remain subject to these rules. We do not promise that every post is reviewed before publication.

Deleting an account

You can initiate deletion in the app’s Account settings. This removes your account and associated content as described in the privacy policy. Owned clubs and their discussions are removed too; consider the effect on other members before confirming. Content copied by others or held in backups may not disappear immediately. Hiding your profile or signing out is not account deletion.

Books, links, and external services

Book metadata may be incomplete or inaccurate, and editions may differ. Reviews express their authors’ opinions. Third-party sign-in, GIFs, book data, and linked services have their own terms. Lectovia is not affiliated with authors, publishers, or retailers merely because a book appears in the app.

Lectovia is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Goodreads or Amazon. References to those services identify compatibility or provide directions to their websites. Import only your own library exports and content you own or have permission to use. File import is a one-time transfer, not an account connection or automatic sync.

Purchases

Paid memberships and customization purchases are not currently offered in this version. Any future paid feature will show its price and applicable purchase, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms before purchase.

Service limitations

We aim to keep Lectovia useful and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free metadata, or preservation of data stored only on your device. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes and contact

Features and these terms may change. We will provide notice of material changes where required. Send questions or requests through Help & support in Settings. Applicable mandatory consumer protections remain in effect; these terms do not impose arbitration or waive participation in a class action.
